Edelbrock engine blocks are the ideal starting point for any high-performance build that demands the quality and precision of an American-manufactured product. The Edelbrock 400 Small-Block Chevy Block #4500209 is a semi-finished bare cast-iron engine block with a rough bore size of 4.120 inches (+/- .001), a rough deck height of 9.031 inches, and a cam bearing bore ID of 2.00 inches with a two-piece rear main seal. The semi-finished deck and bores allow an engine builder to machine the block to nominal deck heights and bore diameters using their own finish specifications. This SBC #4500209 Block features Siamese cylinder bores and splayed four-bolt mains to meet the demands of a high-horsepower build. Features include a standard SBC head bolt pattern and camshaft position, standard 400 SBC main bearing size, standard SBC starter location, and compatibility with standard SBC timing chain, gears and 8-or 10-bolt timing cover.

All return authorization requests must be made within 30 days of the original purchase. Any products that have been installed or were made to order are non-refundable. Order cancellations are subject to a 5% fee and returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Customers are liable for all return shipping charges.
