Install an earlier-style camshaft with a 3-bolt sprocket using Lingenfelter 3-bolt camshaft installation kits. Newer Chevy engines have a single-bolt camshaft sprocket design with a spring-loaded chain tensioner, so you will need these kits. They will include a 3-bolt sprocket, three camshaft bolts, a chain damper, and special bolts with sleeves required for the install.
