HRA rules require that any automatic transmission-equipped car running 10.99 or quicker (or faster than 135 mph) must be equipped with a transmission shield or blanket-type shield with an SFI rating of 4.1. Our Summit Racing® transmission blankets are made from high-quality materials to be both oil- and water-resistant, and they do have an SFI-approval rating of 4.1. These safety blankets install easily with attaching straps and have an absorbent pad to help protect against oil spills.
